The program offers candidates the opportunity to experience course work in pedagogy and practicum. The course work in Teacher Education Program is grounded in liberal arts and supported by major fields of specialization and professional studies. Based on a two - year integrated approach, Education majors are expected to complete: General Education/Liberal Arts courses and be immersed in an area of specialization and engage in at least 1 semester of field experience.

Passing the Screening Test administered by the University

Having passed the WAEC examinations

Presenting his/her high school diploma and transcript

Presenting two letters of recommendation (one from applicants principal and the other from his/her clergyman/community leader)

Submitting a medical/health certificate from a recognized hospital/clinic

Sitting an interview after passing the entrance examination
